Catholics, what's your reaction when an ex-Catholic say he/she left Catholicism because Catholics worship Mary?

That's one reason I am not catholic anymore either. It surprises me how many catholics on here say that their church doesn't teach that. They have said that we lie. But my church did teach the worship of saints and Mary and the paying of a dollar to light a candle to them, etc. I think that the churches don't all agree amongst themselves on these things. Some do them and some don't. That's the only reason I can think of that they would say that we are lying when we are telling the truth.
