I'm in love with a boy over 2,000 miles away?

Ok, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but anyways, I met this boy online over a year ago. We've skyped, texted, talked on the phone and everything like that. I think about him all the time, everyday and I just want to be around him. He's my age, (16, junior in high school) and super amazing and feels the same way. The thing is, I live 2,575 miles away from him, but if we lived near eachother we would definitely be together. I absolutely hate my town, too, and so does all of my family. It's gross and everyone here in unfriendly to my family because we aren't from here and I barely have any friends. It just sucks. My mom keeps telling me that if I decided I want to move somewhere else so I can go to college in that state that we can, so my question is should I just uproot myself and my family and leave school and all my friends to move near him? Not fully for him, but mainly.
