Was I wrong to in-law? Need help coping with major drama!?

All three of you were wrong. First thing, it is your husbands duty to protect you, not only from outsiders but from his mother too. You shouldn't have had to call her out on being called a . that was your husband/her son's job to do that right then and there. She was wrong for coming when she knew she didn't like you. You were wrong for calling her what you did knowing your child was in the house. With all that being said, there is nothing more to the story since you kicked her out. I am sure she won't be back.
