When i shave or use delipatories, my bikini line & underarm get dark and the hair bumps also leave marks????

It seems expecially hard since I am a woman of color to find a product that will lighten these areas and return to them to the normal shade OR find some better way of hair removal. The hair bumps are even prevalent on the back of my legs even though i don't use razor on my legs, i use nair.
